MyDataAnalyst

An analyst on call, no hire needed.

Trouble finding a full-time analyst? Most small businesses never fill the role, and the work still has to happen: reports that keep arriving, dashboards that stay right, and a straight answer when a number looks off. MyDataAnalyst gives you an analyst’s time every month, plus upkeep for everything we build.

  • Access to the systems behind them, when there’s work to do
  • A contact for each request — whoever knows that data best

Why this exists

Why not just hire an analyst?

Good analysts are rare. You get an analyst for the time you need, month-to-month, without recruiting, onboarding, or managing anyone, or replacing them when they leave. If you’ve been searching for a fractional data analyst, this is that, at a published monthly price.

The On-Call Analyst tier is $3,000 a month, or $36,000 a year. You can move down to Maintenance or cancel any month.

How it works

What happens after you book?

  1. 20-minute call

Tell us what you rely on and what keeps breaking. You leave with a recommendation and a monthly estimate on the call.

  2. Review

If we didn’t build it, we review it first, priced by how complex it is. Anything that needs fixing gets a fixed quote.

  3. Pick a tier

    Maintenance from $500 a month, On-Call Analyst at $3,000, or On-Call Plus at $7,000.

  4. Change as you go

Move up, move down, or cancel any month. On-Call Plus has a three-month minimum. Everything stays yours.

FAQ

What people ask before they book.

What’s the difference between the tiers?

Maintenance keeps what we built running: if it stops working we find out why, if the cause is how we built it the fix is covered, and small fixes for changes on your side come out of your monthly allowance. On-Call Analyst adds the analyst: about two days of analyst work a month, with your existing reports run on schedule, a monthly numbers review, one-off analysis, and your data questions answered, up to two requests in progress at a time. On-Call Plus is the same with about five days a month, and a three-month minimum.

Will our analyst build new reports?

No. New reports, dashboards and forms are builds, and we quote them before any work starts. Your analyst answers questions, runs one-off analyses, keeps your existing reports running, and makes small changes to them.

How is Maintenance priced?

About 15% of what we charged for the build, per year, billed monthly, with a $500 a month minimum. One report is $500 a month. A $100,000 application is about $1,250 a month.

What happens if we need more?

Anything beyond your monthly allowance gets a fixed quote before we touch it, whether it’s a build, a change, or a bigger fix for something changed on your side. On the On-Call tiers, a busy month can add extra time, when there’s capacity. Monthly work allowances don’t carry over.

What about reports someone else built?

We review them first, priced by how complex they are, from half a day. Anything that needs fixing gets a fixed quote, and after that they are covered like our own.

Can we start on Maintenance and upgrade later?

Yes. Month-to-month works in both directions: start on Maintenance after a build, move up when the questions pile up, and drop back down any month.*
*On-Call Plus has a three-month minimum.

Can we cancel?

Any month on Maintenance and On-Call Analyst. On-Call Plus has a three-month minimum. Everything we maintain stays yours, so you lose nothing by leaving.
